Update: after getting on the highway and a couple of cars passing me the sensor seemed to recalibrate itself. I guess there wassome kind of calibration issue.
Driving my son to daycare today my BSM light started flasing on my dash. BSM= blind spot monitoring do any oppos have experience with this?

Clean the car. These sensors are on a goddamn hair trigger on everything, have been since we started putting backup sensors in things.

Time to pull out the electrical tape and start using your mirrors/checking your blind spots.

HOORAY OBNOXIOUSLY SENSITIVE BULLSHIT THAT REQUIRES TWICE THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE GARAGE TO “CALIBRATE”!
No, seriously. Look up the calibration specs for some of this shit sometime. The smallest length is like 20' for some of the early ‘park assist’ systems. Most of the lane-keep and auto-cruise shit demands you position target boards 150 feet away from the bumper .

This is nuts i want less technology now.

I’m fine with technology, I just want it designed by people who aren’t fucking morons.
So yeah. We’re gonna need to rip it all back down to Z80's and CD players. A car does not fucking need 13 million lines of code.

Leave the bluetooth audio, get rid of all these sensors.
